Goals:
Teacher students:

·         know the structure and salient features of the Finnish education system  

·         describe and evaluate various working and learning environments in vocational education

·         recognize the working cultures in their own educational institutions and analyze how they affect teaching and learning

·         give examples of how various pedagogical choices as well as methods of teaching, facilitation and learning work

·         describe the most important theoretical approaches of learning and facilitation and know how to use their basic concepts

·         identify and describe various teaching and learning methods, evaluate and compare how appropriate they are in the given context and in their own contexts

·         evaluate and justify their own pedagogical choice
